GENERAL

Who is Roger D. Glanton? Does this Battle Pass really have a story?

The Death and Life of Roger D. Glanton is the story of the man who started it all: the Darwin Project founder himself. Glanton’s bone-chilling story is told through age-old documents that are unlocked as you play. For more information about why we decided to flesh out the Darwin Project universe this way, please read this blog post.

How much Ramen does the Battle Pass cost?

The Battle Pass costs 1,000 Ramen.

Can I play this content without spending money?

Yes. If you do not purchase the Battle Pass, you can still discover Roger D. Glanton’s story and earn some of the rewards.

How long do I have to complete the Battle Pass?

The Death and Life of Roger D. Glanton will only be available for 4 weeks: From Tuesday, October 16 to Tuesday, November 13.

After November 13, it will no longer be possible to earn experience points, complete Challenges, or earn rewards (however, if you reach Tier 50 and unlock the Ultimate Challenges before November 13, those can still be completed after the Battle Pass ends).

Does a new Battle Pass season begin right after this one?

There won’t be a new Battle Pass available as soon as this one ends. In fact, because The Death and Life of Roger D. Glanton will be the first limited-time event of this scope that we deliver, your feedback will be incredibly valuable for us to help determine whether we create more in the future!

REWARDS

How do rewards work?

Rewards are unlocked as you reach different Tiers. Tiers correspond to the numbered cells in the Rewards tab of the Battle Pass menu. When you gain enough experience points to reach a new Tier, you will immediately receive the reward inside. You can preview all obtainable rewards by navigating with the left and right arrows in the Rewards.

Do I get to keep my rewards after the Battle Pass ends?

Absolutely. All your rewards, including Lore, are yours permanently.

How do I earn experience points to unlock higher Tiers?

You can earn experience points for The Death and Life of Roger D. Glanton by playing Darwin Project normally (excluding Private Matches), completing Weekly Challenges, and completing tasks from the Daily Rehab Program.

Is there any other way to obtain the cosmetic items listed under Rewards?

No. All cosmetic items inside the Rewards are exclusive to The Death and Life of Roger D. Glanton and will never be available through Fan Gifts or purchasable directly from the Shop.

Why do some rewards appear locked?

Rewards with a padlock icon require you to unlock higher Tiers in order to earn them (you can still hover over the items to preview them).

In addition, all items in the second row of the Rewards will appear locked if the Battle Pass is not owned. Keep in mind that if you purchase the Battle Pass once you have already made progress, rewards up to your current Tier will be unlocked retroactively.

How can I view the Lore that I unlocked?

All the Lore can be viewed in the Lore tab of the Battle Pass menu, even after the Battle Pass has ended.

What are Personal XP Boosts?

XP Boosts are some of the rewards that can be earned by reaching certain Tiers. Unlocking an XP Boost will automatically increase your Battle Pass experience gain when playing Darwin Project matches (excluding Private Matches, which do not grant XP). They do not apply to experience obtained from completing Challenges or the Daily Rehab Program.

Once earned, Personal XP Boosts are active for the duration of the Battle Pass. An indicator will appear next to the Play button in the main menu to indicate that an XP Boost is active.

XP Boosts can stack, meaning that if you have a Personal XP Boost and play a Duos match with a friend who has a Friend XP Boost, you’ll receive the benefits of both.

These XP Boosts are specific to the Battle Pass and do not affect Fan gain.

What are Friend XP Boosts?

Friend XP Boosts allow your Duo Mode allies to earn more Battle Pass experience when you play with them (excluding Private Matches, which do not grant XP). They do not apply to experience obtained from completing Challenges or the Daily Rehab Program.

XP Boosts can stack, meaning that if you play a Duos match with a friend who has a Personal XP Boost active and you have a Friend XP Boost, your friend will receive the benefits of both.

These XP Boosts are specific to the Battle Pass and do not affect Fan gain.

Some Tiers have Ramen rewards. Does that mean I can re-earn some Ramen I spent on the Battle Pass just by playing?

Yes! If you purchase the Battle Pass for 1,000 Ramen, you can earn up to 700 Ramen in rewards by reaching certain Tiers.
